Who in the medical field do you admire, and why?

"My mom has always inspired me to persevere through life's obstacles because these challenges are learning experiences and opportunities to build my character. There were times when some academic challenges felt impossible to overcome. Still, she reminded me of the tenacity and grit required to reach my goal of being accepted into medical school. Her wisdom shifted my mindset from 'unfair' to 'opportunity,' and I could never thank her enough for that gift."
