Kansas City Campus: Founded in 1916, this campus has upgraded buildings and technology. This campus offers 'state-of-the-art facilities, a welcoming environment, and the highest quality technology.' You have access to a social hub of dining, arts, and entertainment off-campus.
Joplin Campus: The university describes this campus as providing a 'midwest charm at a cultural crossroads.' The Joplin campus is ideal for nature lovers as it is close to scenic locations like the Chert Glades in Wildcat Glades Park or the Grand Falls on Shoal Creek. Joplin is becoming known as an excellent place for foodies! It also has an active art scene.

"It was challenging to decide which KCU campus was most enticing to me! I researched the respective cities and considered which one I could happily live in for the next few years. I found that Joplin's advantages were that it's a smaller, more intertwined town. Kansas City has other major medical institutions, so I wondered if I would feel 'lost in the crowd,' so to speak. Since the curriculum is the same in both locations, I would prefer the vibe of the Joplin campus. I am a big foodie, art enthusiast, and lover of the outdoors so I look forward to taking advantage of the scenery surrounding the Joplin campus."
