"I have been fortunate to have excellent communication with my previous and current supervisors. However, I have worked with customers that were unclear and even angry on occasion. My approach for those situations was to do all that I could on my own and then seek clarification as needed. I also listened with empathy and promptly delivered any promised follow-up communication. That approach helped to ease tension and placed the focus back on the work that needed to be completed.

To me, it's about respect and showing the other party you're doing all you can with what they provide. I am confident I would be able to successfully navigate any conflicts in communication style I might experience here at Suncor."
