We're looking for fast learners to join our team at Robinhood. How long will it take for you to make a meaningful contribution?

While it's understandable that you will need some time to get up to speed in your role, you should convey to your interviewer that you're ready to hit the ground running on day one. Emphasize that you're a fast learner who will happily jump right into tasks.

"I plan to be productive from day one and am incredibly eager to get started. Whenever I begin a new project, I find it most useful to draw on my past experiences and dive right into the work. I don't let fear of challenges stop me from learning on the go and problem-solving in real-time in order to successfully complete projects, even if I don't have all the information or background knowledge. If given the opportunity to join the Robinhood team, I would be excited to jump right into it and begin making meaningful contributions to the team."

"I plan to make an impact as soon as possible at Robinhood. I've already researched this position and have all the requisite skills outlined in the position description, along with proficiency in other relevant skills that I think would be useful in developing the (XYZ) project at Robinhood. As you can tell, I'm incredibly eager to get started, which is why I have created a 90-day impact plan that I would like to share with you. After that, I'm interested in hearing from you if there are any additional actions that I haven't included that I could take in the first week to be successful in this role."
