Tell me about the most interesting project you have worked on this year and the biggest thing you learned from it.

"In my previous role, we worked on a variety of projects with fingerprint recognition software. One of the most interesting projects was a fingerprint-based ATM system. It was a test project for a large banking institution. In addition to learning a great deal about fingerprint recognition, I was also able to learn a lot about the critical relationship between software and security."

"I find the majority of the projects that I have been working on this past year to be very interesting. If I had to choose one, I would choose having had the opportunity to develop the Uber app with a team of software developers. This has been the most meaningful part of my internship with Uber, as I learned a lot about on-demand apps and building a friendly user interface."

Demonstrate to your interviewer that you value continuous growth and learning opportunities by discussing a recent project that particularly piqued your interest. In most cases, it's best to focus on a professional example, but it's okay to discuss a personal project as long as you can give a compelling reason why it's relevant to your current work.

Maybe a project put you out of your comfort zone professionally, or perhaps it had a far-reaching impact. Reflect on what made the project meaningful and the top thing that you took away from it.
