"I recently read an article that talked about four aspects of teamwork; contributors, communicators, challengers, and collaborators. I promote teamwork in the workplace, by bringing a healthy mix of all of these characteristics. For example, I help facilitate team chats, weekly connection points, AGILE calls, and communications to inform the team of updates. In other situations, I promote teamwork and innovation by providing ideas and asking probing questions to help brainstorm, I help set goals, keep track of the progress of our goals, and help pick up extra tasks where needed to make sure the team is successful."

"I work as part of a very small department of five, so we rely heavily on one another to keep up with tasks and projects to be successful. The work that we do is often time-sensitive, so we have to be closely aligned and communicate effectively so everyone understands the goals, tasks, and expectations. In such a small group, we each need to be willing to do our part as individual contributors, but also jump in and help a team member where needed so as not to miss goals or deadlines."
