"Well, what I wouldn't do is look guilty by repeating no comment to the cameras and hiding away, nor getting defensive and lashing out. I'd hire a team who is used to putting out fires like this and who is specially equipped to handle the situation. The right response and the timing of that response are as important as the message of that response. So, I'd appoint a response team and with them, I'd devise a strategy and a carefully crafted message to make sure we clearly identified and communicated with all those affected by the event and would then carefully monitor the situation and study what we can improve on to perform better next time. Every mistake is a lesson to shore up for success."
