How would you improve diversity in your work environment?

When discussing diversity, focus on a general acceptance of the human experience and the sensitivities of underrepresented communities. When discussing inclusion, you should demonstrate empathy and acceptance. On even the most inherently human level, we are all driven by the same basic needs and grow from and experience the same unifying experiences. Focus on the unifiers of diversity when answering this question.

"When I created my career plan, I realized my core value is integrity. I pride myself on being an ethical person and am an advocate for equality everywhere. I'm all about inclusion and diversity. I want to work in an environment that fosters and shares these core values in their brand culture. That's why I want to work for Johnson & Johnson. They even address it in their Credo, where it says, "We must respect their diversity and dignity and recognize their merit." So, I would encourage diversity not just for the obvious reason, but for the sake of forward-thinking and the encouragement of innovation. So, I would improve it by encouraging it and preaching its merits."
