"Being trained as a nurse in Brazil, I think my education has prepared me very well for a career in the United States. In Brazil, my education had a strong focus on biology and patient care like in the United States. I think my work experience and training in my home country really prepared me to work with patients with infectious diseases and primary care issues where I don't have as sound of a background in areas like Orthopedics and Surgery."
