Employers are looking for reliability and commitment. Provide an example of your excellent attendance record and punctuality in a previous position, in a professional or volunteer capacity. Answer by providing an example where, e.g., you were rewarded for your behavior or congratulated by a superior, or where it could have been difficult for someone to remain reliable, yet you were.
"I am extremely reliable and always on time. For instance, when working as a/an (X position title) for (X company), I had to work very long hours, sometimes working overtime until 9pm, and start my day at 6am. This position was also located 30 minutes from my house and as such I had to ensure to get a good night sleep and prepare for the next day the night before. I am proud to say that I was always on time."

I am very reliable and always on time. For example, when I worked as a security guard, I remember doing a dock watch on a Saturday at 6 a.m. and didn't leave till Sunday at 1 in the morning. I remember I got 4 hours of sleep and did the next shift at 6 a.m. the following Sunday.

Wow - that is dedication! Very good example.

My current and or past employers would say that I was always punctual. I would always make sure I made it to work ten to fifteen minutes prior to my shift to ensure I was there on time or if I was needed earlier. One of the motos I learned through my boss was "if you aren't early you're late."

Stephanie's Feedback
