"Elements are placed within a web page using the position command within CSS. The values used by position are relative, fixed, inherent, static, and absolute. This technical question is similar to the previous one. Interviewers will often ask about topics in several different ways to confirm your understanding of the topic they are curious about. You may also encounter multiple interviews or group interviews in which each person you speak with will ask you the same question but in a different manner. If this occurs, it indicates that the topic they are asking about is important to the job you will be doing. This also gives you clues as to follow-up or subsequent questions you can expect.

Some of the values allow the elements to reposition themselves depending on changes within the web page or different browsers or platforms. These fix their positions relative to the borders of the page."
