Focus on assuring the interviewer you understand the nature of the business and that working a non-traditional schedule is part of the job. Let them know that you are flexible with your schedule and willing to work whatever hours they need, including weekends.

If you want to be considered for the position, it is best to avoid saying that you cannot work weekends without explaining why. If you have a personal obligation such as caring for a child or family member or attending classes on the weekends, describe your situation to the interviewer and explain how you will look for help with your child or family member or talk with your professor on the weekends you need to work. If you are honest in the interview, the interviewer will understand if there are some weekends you might not be able to work.

"I attend a hybrid MSW course on the weekends, so it will be difficult for me to work weekends until I complete that course. I have four more months of that course, and then I would be available to work whenever needed."
