"One class that comes to mind is this course called Systems of Inequality in the Sociology department. The class examined the different types of inequality that exist in the U.S. and how those systems can impact individual lives as they try to live under these structures. I think it will be beneficial for me as I work with different population groups to better understand and empathize with where they are coming from."
