Of all the allied health professions (MD, PA, OT), what made you apply for PT school?

There is a myth that Physical Therapy is a fall-back for students who could not get into medical school. Prove to the interviewer that PT is your top choice of all the other careers and that you have done a lot of research into what PTs do. Another approach to this question could be bringing up a shadowing experience you have had.

"While the other professions play important roles in healthcare, I find that my interests lie in PT's focus on the human body's motion. Figuring out how movement and injury work together is a puzzle I love trying to solve. I also like that PT provides education in hands-on manipulations rather than just medications like other health professions."
