"I adjust my procedures for younger patients by allowing more time to spend with them. I start by letting them warm up to me by playing little games with stuffed animals. I then show them the different glasses while explaining how I will adjust the glasses to get a perfect fit. If they are anxious and cannot sit still, I have them sit on their parent's lap, so they feel safe and comfortable."
