Interviewers expect that you have developed a nursing creed, or belief in practice, that shapes how you will practice as an NP. Talk about the core values that you live by as a licensed medical professional. They should be beliefs that you hold that have been formed from your experiences.
"My personal nursing philosophy is providing care with the highest level of integrity and empathy. From being a patient myself to becoming a nurse, I strive to work with the highest level of integrity and take pride in knowing I am doing my absolute best for my patients and teammates. Besides working with integrity, I find it vital to work with empathy because each person I interact with has their own perspective and feelings that I am responsible for recognizing and relating to if I am going to care for them."
