"The role of a librarian is to foster a place of learning, connection, and growth for the community. A librarian does this by educating, hosting programs and study groups, engaging readers, teaching research skills, organizing shelves and resources, ordering updated novels and materials, and sharing a variety of resources to better the community. The role of the librarian is vital and necessary for a thriving library and community."
