"I had a very upset customer due to a high water bill when I worked at an apartment complex a couple of years ago. I listened to her vent and then I let her know I was sorry she had to deal with it. It sucks when your bills are much higher than anticipated. I couldn't lower the cost because the bill was through the city, but I let her know what to expect during certain months and gave her some suggestions for ways to lower it after she calmed down."
