The interviewer wants to hear that you are flexible and willing to travel out of town or to another state for your projects. Explain that you are willing to travel when needed and enjoy seeing new places. The interviewer is more likely to hire an employee that gets excited to experience new things.

If you want the job, avoid saying that you are unwilling to travel or do not care for traveling. If you have an outside responsibility, such as childcare, that prohibits you from traveling, explain why traveling would be difficult for you.
