Do you have any experience with children with special needs?

Find out if there are any kids in the group with a particular special need. Ask questions to make sure you understand how you can be the most supportive. If you have experience, give an example that shows how you were sensitive to the child's needs and how you worked with the parent to make sure that they were comfortable and engaged in activities. It's important to understand the needs of your children, whether it is a particular dietary restriction or a developmental disability. Share how you are aware that every child is different and you are flexible to meet their needs.
