"The largest software development project I have worked on was creating a database of automotive parts for a car manufacturing company. The challenge was to inventory each part used by the manufacturer and cross-reference them with the vehicles they could be used on since many parts could be applied to multiple vehicles. My role was to create the SQL queries so the workers could find the correct part by using common terminology they were familiar with."

A full-stack Django application incorporating Stripe payments and AWS hosting for an author. I worked on this individually whilst learning Django. I had to think deeply about how to make checkout flow secure and efficient for users and I also was learning how to use AWS and manage IAM roles and s3 bucket permissions. I was very proud of the finished result and how much I learned from this project - during which I developed a great enjoyment of using Django with its extensible functionality.

Great! You have provided an excellent example of a time when you worked on a large software project. It sounds like you learned a lot! How did you obtain this job? Can you also talk about how the person/company you did this for benefited from the end result?
