I do not yet have industry experience but I have worked on a number of individual and collaborative projects following the agile development methodology. Work is divided into small tasks and assigned to members of the team to work on in sprints. Regular update meetings are convened to check progress and replan as necessary. Development progresses in high frequency, short iterations and is deployed quickly with multiple releases.
