The Admissions Committee at Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry wants to know what areas of achievement are most important to you. Perhaps you have maintained an exceptional GPA during your undergrad courses. Maybe you excelled in school while working a part-time job. Or, perhaps you finished top of your class in your undergrad and received a special award for your achievements. Discuss any accolades you may have received along the way and discuss why you are proud of your accomplishments.

"I am proud of earning a spot on the Dean's list for three of four undergraduate years. I started my undergrad determined to study hard and earn top grades. I am proud of this achievement because it allowed me to be here today, interviewing for a spot at Detroit Mercy's renowned dentistry program. This achievement shows that my hard work and dedication earned me one step closer to achieving my goals of becoming a world-class dentist."

"One achievement that I am particularly proud of is my DAT score. Some skills that I have worked on over the years are my time management skills and study habits. I have extensively tried different methods to improve these skills as they are, in my opinion, central to your success. My DAT score is evidence of that improvement as during my study time for the DAT, I continued to work full-time while also taking college classes."
