One significant impact that has interested me most is how we dispense medications, ranking particular meds based on importance. During COVID-19, pharmacists have experienced detrimental drug shortages due to manufacturing and transportation challenges. In the future, pharmacists will have to revisit their distribution model and how they approach collaborating with biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
