The interviewer wants to know about your future career plans and if you have intentions of joining an existing pharmacy or buying your own. Be honest about your goals and desire for your career path.

"My ultimate goal would be to open my own pharmacy one day, as I want to provide patients with individual attention and a wider variety of hand-picked products. I also envision myself extending assistance to my community. For instance, I could give complimentary flu shots to those who do not have insurance coverage. I have an entrepreneurial spirit, so opening my own pharmacy would suit me when I am ready to take that leap."

There is no wrong answer to this question, as they ask about your goals and aspirations. If you are not interested in owning your own pharmacy, no problem. If you have dreams of owning a pharmacy, explain why business ownership appeals to you.
