What You Should Say
Assure the interviewer that you can adapt to significant changes professionally. Also, while change can be difficult, it sometimes presents an opportunity. When working with my clients to prepare for an interview, I encourage them to consider times in which they took advantage of the change in addition to adapting to it.

Answer Example
"The biggest change I faced in my career so far was when my previous company went through a major merger. We had to adapt to new processes and management, which was quite challenging.
In the end, it worked out well for me. I worked hard to develop several process improvements before the merger, and my new management team was impressed when I reviewed our operational metrics with them. While my teams and I had to learn a lot of new procedures, they also incorporated several of our best practices."
