When you become a veterinarian, how will you improve the profession throughout your career?

"I have chosen to become a veterinarian because of the broad impact I can make on animals, their owners, and my community. As a veterinarian, I can impact others through education and awareness. I say this because a veterinarian can positively impact how animals are treated, including how many animals end up in local shelters. We can be a critical stopping point in animal neglect and abuse. As a veterinarian, I will improve the profession by bringing a whole-health mindset to my clients for the betterment of their pets."
