"My family is incredibly proud of me for attending veterinarian school. My mother has worked in the medical field as a nurse for her entire career, and she instilled her caring demeanor and work ethic in me at a young age. If I were accepted into Kansas State University's college of veterinary medicine, I know I would be a long way from my family for the first time in my life, and I am ready for this. Their support and love are just a quick phone call or Zoom meeting away, and everyone is ready for this step in my life."
