"Bettering my community is going to be a big part of what I do as a veterinarian. I already volunteer at the emergency animal shelter and plan to continue volunteering after graduation. I plan to benefit the members of my community by holding free animal vaccination drives to help low-income families. I also love the shelter medicine program at KSU and look forward to offering service to local shelters in desperate need of help."
