"I currently work for a home furnishings retailer and had a customer the other day who had just purchased her first home but had no idea where to start with furnishings -- she had always relied on partners and roommates for home decor in the past. I spent time getting to know her personality, interests, and hobbies, and then I went around the store and collected some items that I thought she might like that would suit her home and get her started. She was really excited about a lot of the items I chose, and her large purchase helped us exceed our monthly sales goal."
