How would you reassure a customer when they're concerned?

This question assesses your soft skills, especially surrounding your communication skills. The trick here is to communicate effectively and concisely. Avoid speech crutches ( um, like, you know, etc.) and try to speak clearly and concisely while delivering your well-formulated answer.

"I would speak softly and choose my words wisely, so as not to say anything that might be misconstrued or alarm them. I would be empathetic and describe the situation as accurately and clearly as possible. If they express their fears, I'd encourage them to be patient, and that if there was any bad news I would help them by educating them on all of their options, and any programs that might be useful in their situation."
