"There are several key files and folders used in virtually every Android application. The first of these is App, which describes the basic characteristics of the app and defines the components. The next major file folder is Java. This contains the .java source files and the .kt extensions. It is also where all the code for the application resides. Another critical folder is res. This folder contains the values for the resources Android uses, such as color, dimensions, styles, and other values. The final folder is called scripts. As indicated by its name, scripts contains lines of code that define the build configurations and other characteristics of the application. Many of the files contained within scripts are part of the SDK."
