"There are many precautions a taxi driver can take to stay safe. These include never exiting your vehicle unless it's necessary. Hiding cash, or dropping it off at the office whenever possible throughout the day. Also, I am saving to invest in a dash cam that records to the cloud, so the footage is always available, on demand and in real time. I do believe that with today's technology, it's now much safer to be a taxi driver than when I first began in this career."

As a taxi driver, you too could be put into compromising situations with strangers in your vehicle all day long. The interviewer would like to know the precautions you take to ensure your safety. Some ways that you can remain safe:
- Outfit your vehicle with a dash cam
- Never leave your car unless necessary
- In some cities, you may want a plexiglass screen installed between the front and back seat
- Hide cash from plain sight
Discuss the ways you ensure that you are safe on the job, every day.

"I recently installed a dash cam into my car and feel very safe having it now. I also take other precautions such as depositing cash on a regular basis and never leaving valuables in plain sight. It's important to me that both my passengers and I are as safe and comfortable as possible."
