How is emulation used in the hardware design and development process?

There are many different techniques used during the hardware design process. The interviewer is likely to ask you about several of these during the interview. While it would be beneficial for you to be familiar with these, you may not have experience with all of them. If this is the case, it is very acceptable to admit this to the interviewer and then describe how you would learn about and incorporate the process into your design methodology.
