I am proactive instead of reactive. I always try to anticipate a patient's needs and monitor their status very closely so I can catch any changes early and intervene promptly. As a critical care nurse, it is very important to be proactive to prevent further deterioration and interventions implemented soon usually result in better patient outcomes.
