For the past five years, I have spent every Saturday working at the local animal shelter, helping with pet adoptions. This work has taught me further software skills and has strengthened my people-facing and engagement skills as well."

This question is another open-ended one where it can be easy to ramble on and on. Avoid this by preparing a couple of statements regarding what makes you a stand-out candidate, but may not be on your resume. For instance, you may want to mention some current volunteer work, an exciting hobby, your favorite books on business or leadership, a pipe-dream that you have (career-related) or even additional languages that you speak. However, you choose to reply, ensure that it remains on track with a career conversation.

One thing that you would not know about me that is not on my resume is that recently I became a LinkedIn Premium member. I love that there are so many different learning courses. I've taken courses on Foundations of Grammar, learned how to create a Powerpoint Presentation, and also working on expanding my knowledge of Excel.

One thing you might not realize about me from my resume is how much I enjoy learning. I recently became a LinkedIn Premium member specifically to take advantage of all the online courses the service provides. I love it! So far, I've taken courses on grammar, Excel, and PowerPoint presentations. I can't wait to take others and keep expanding my knowledge base, which I know will benefit me both within this role and within my life in general.
