We all have weaknesses, and that is an expected reality. However, the Admissions Committee at Pace University wants to know that your biggest weakness will not impact your ability to succeed as a student in their PA program. The decision-makers would also like evidence that you are self-aware and can readily identify areas for personal improvement.

Talk about a weakness that is not a core skill required for your success as a Pace University PA student. Be honest when you answer, recognizing that although you may not be great at something, you acknowledge the need to improve. Show the Admissions Committee that you have an action plan to improve this weakness.

"I plan to actively improve my written communication skills while attending the PA program at Pace University. At times, I have trouble getting my point across in simple terms. Last semester, I took a course that filled the State-Mandated Writing requirement needed to graduate college. The course already consisted of three essay assignments, but it also required me to write a 1500-word essay. After writing the essay, my professor reviewed the work and allowed me to make revisions for a higher score. I scored 98% on my first essay submission, and my professor told me that I did not need to make any revisions to my essay. I have already made progress on my written communication skills, and I plan to continue this progress by enrolling in a writing workshop over the summer months."
