"Although I have known for many years that I wanted to practice medicine, some aspects of becoming a physician did not fit with my long-term personal goals. So, when I was completing my undergrad and discovered the path of a PA, I felt excited about the prospect. The more I researched and learned about a Physician Assistant career, the more excited I felt. It seems like being a PA is the perfect blend of being able to help patients and provide an exceptional level of care while still being able to maintain a balanced personal life. This career option is flexible and offers a wide range of areas where I can specialize and practice. As a PA, I can also pursue a wide variety of medical-related research topics. I am very motivated by the fact that, in addition to providing patient-centered care, I will also be able to thrive in a diverse and dynamic career."
