Many dentists have an area of specialty in which they work. What area of dentistry interests you most?

"I have many areas of potential career interest in dentistry and, at this point, am not committed to any particular specialty. I'm looking forward to the coming years at Nova Southeastern University, where I can explore more and find my niche in my career."

There is no right or wrong answer to this question. What is important is that you have at least put some thought into this and that you come to your interview prepared to discuss your career plans and training path. If you need to before the interview, you should conduct some research on areas of specialty offered in dentistry. These include endodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, pediatrics, periodontics, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.
