"I agree that self-development is crucial for continual growth and achievement for any aspiring dentist. I am committed to investing in myself. I currently do this by attending personal development workshops and meeting with a mentor monthly. I just began this mentoring relationship over the last year and have loved the opportunity to shadow and pick the brain of the dentist I grew up with."

"Self-development requires a commitment to growth inside and outside of the classroom. I look forward to being able to attend conferences such as ADA regularly. I look forward to becoming actively involved in evidence-based dental research as well, and I love that Nova Southeastern University puts a strong emphasis on this in your dental school."
