QUESTION 27 OF 30

How well do you collaborate with others?

While some of your job duties as a Merck Intern will be working independently, there are times when you will be collaborating with your mentor and other members of the team. The interviewer wants to hear that you are a team player and can work well with diverse groups.

If you have prior work experience, describe how well you have collaborated with others at work in the past. If you are new to the workforce, use an experience from a sports team, volunteer experience, or school to describe how you work well with others.

"I collaborate very well with others. It helps when like-minded individuals work towards a common goal for things to flow smoothly in the workplace. In my three years in college and working in retail, I have never had any issues with classmates or coworkers. I enjoy working independently and with others and learning from their experiences."
