How to Answer
The interviewers would like to know what you want to learn about working at EY. In your interview, you have the opportunity to connect with leaders at Ernst and Young, so it's essential that you make the most of this time and ask thoughtful questions that will give you helpful insight into what it's like to work with a Big 4 firm.
Consider asking questions where the answers will provide you with competitive insight. It's a good idea to have 3-5 questions prepared. You don't need to ask them all if time is limited; however, by preparing a collection of questions, you can choose which you feel are most important to ask at the end of your interview.
Answer Example
"Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions today. My first question is, what is the most important quality to possess as an EY Intern? (Note: your goal should be to find out what quality EY values most for this position, assess whether you possess this quality, and then speak further about how you will meet this need.) Next, in your opinion, how can I best succeed as an EY Intern? (Note: by asking this question, you allow the interviewer to picture you in the role. You also show that you have an eye on your future with EY). Last, I would love to know your favorite aspect of working for EY. (Note: this question will give you insight into everyday life while working at the firm and the most exciting aspects of the EY culture)."
