  • 3. What is your personal mission statement?

      How to Answer

The interviewer would like to know if you have a personal motto or mantra. Not everyone has a mission statement or personal mantra just off the cuff. In business, especially when entering leadership, this is an important question to ponder. Do you have a quote that inspires you or a saying that you grew up with that resonates with you?

"Taking pride in your failures and knowing that you gave 100% will make your achievements even sweeter when you do finally succeed" I came up with this saying several years ago to remind myself that in every failure, there is a victory."

      Alexandra's Feedback

This is a great answer! Be prepared to give an example of how you've come back from a failure or succeeded after failing. If I were the interviewer, I may ask this as a follow up question in order to understand more how you came up with the statement. Great statement!
