Tell me about how and when you learned your basic swim skills, and why you are confident in your ability to teach those skills to new swimmers.

"I learned my basic swim skills through regular swimming lessons at my community pool when I was a kid. I remember having caring and patient instructors who always cheered me on. Building a foundation like that with young swimmers is really important. Because I had such a positive experience at such a young age, I want all new swimmers to experience that. I'll do whatever it takes to make that happen."
