What interests you most about our physician assistant program?

In an MMI interview, the interviewer you encounter at each station will evaluate every candidate with the same question/scenario. To make yourself a memorable candidate, dig deep in your research into their program and speak from the heart when you discuss what interests you most about their program. The goal here will be to make your answer the most memorable to your interviewer.

Before your PA school MMI, thoroughly research the details of the program you are interviewing with and come prepared to discuss the unique aspects of their program that are attractive to you. Highlight the pieces of their mission and values that speak to you most. Last, fitting in with life outside of the classroom and clinical setting will be important for any student to be successful. Therefore, don't hesitate to talk about your interests and hobbies that you can do in the city/region you'll be living in while in training in the program.

"Over the last year, I've spoken with several current healthcare providers and students from around the country. One common thing that everyone stressed was finding a program with an excellent track record of training highly successful PAs in the surgical subspecialties because that is where I want my career to take me. Finding a program with strong faculty in the classroom setting is also vital to me. I've focused my applications on these types of schools, and your program quickly rose to the top of my list. With that said, what makes this my dream school is that my fiance's family resides in this region of the state, and we can see ourselves settling down here after I graduate. During clinical rotations with your program, I'll be working extra hard to make great impressions on the staff I work with in hopes of securing a job near the following graduation."
