I am applying to many internal medicine programs, and as an international medical graduate, I have to apply even more to have a chance to match in a good program. Despite applying to many programs, I hold your program in the highest regard because its objectives of helping underserved population ties in with what I have been doing as a physician and the fact that it trains excellent physicians.
Marcie's Feedback
Excellent! It's great that you haven't placed all your eggs in one basket. Having said that, the interviewer will be pleased that you are most interested in their program. Can you talk more about why it's the top program on your list? Beyond its goal to help underserved populations and excellent training, have you talked to any alumni who have told you other positives about the program? Have you read about other perks as you've researched online? Are you interested in living where the school is located? Really let your passion for this program shine through so the interviewer can sense your genuine enthusiasm and desire to get accepted here. Great job!
