"I currently have a couple of patients who suffer from lesions due to severe diabetes. In these cases, I use a variety of chiropractic techniques that are less aggressive and will not hurt the patient or aggravate their lesions. I do also protect myself to ensure that there is no skin to skin contact. I would never deny care to a patient unless the lesion or dis-figuration would cause a risk to the patient."
