You have a good foundation here. The interviewer can ask this question for various reasons, so be sure to express that you work well with all people, regardless of their gender, age, ethnicity, background, religion, education, etc. If you can, go into more detail about the benefits you found working with a diverse group. Perhaps the variation of perspectives brought creativity and new ideas to your team, or maybe that diverse group brought various strengths to the team.
