How to Answer
Perhaps you maintained an exceptional GPA when times got tough. Maybe you excelled in school while working a part-time job. Maybe you finished at the top of your class and received a special award for your achievements. Think of any accolades you may have received along the way as you discuss your proudest achievement. Keep in mind that there is no right or wrong answer here and that your interviewers are simply looking to hear that you are driven by achievements and will be as a medical student with Albany Medical College.

"During high school, I was trained in first aid and CPR, and I put my CPR training to use my senior year when a teacher collapsed in class. Knowing what to do, I yelled for someone to call 911 while I began the CPR process. Other staff from the school arrived to help, and an ambulance was on site in less than ten minutes. I was recognized by the school and a local newspaper for my swift action, but most importantly, I helped save the life of a great teacher."
