Concerning recording it is about taping the voice of the person and later on it can be edited most especially for news.

Operating sound recording equipment need ict skills which I have, volume control should be put in minimum volume, the distance from the device to the mouth measurable.

About Radio Operators

Radio operators spend a major part of their work day receiving and transmitting communications using various types of communication devices such as radiotelephone and radiotelegraph equipment. Their primary responsibility is to maintain communication with aircraft, ships, offshore oil rigs, mining crews, and crews working in other remote locations. All information is then passed on to the proper channels for further action.
Radio operators work in accordance with government regulations. As part of their job, they carry out routine tests and inspections of their equipment to ensure that they comply with the set standards.
